Product design lead at Le Collectionist

I lead a dynamic product design team of four designers, where my primary focus is on fostering their growth, skill development, and overall improvement. I actively collaborate with the brand and tech teams to setting up design processes, creating standards and generally improving our collaboration, facilitating alignment and ensuring that our design solutions effectively bridge the gap between creative vision, business and technical implementation.

Clubs on United Heroes

Until now on United Heroes, users could only communicate with each other through a social wall dedicated to their team in the app. They didn't have the possibility to meet by interest and this is precisely what we wanted to create. With Clubs, users will now be able to join groups related to their favorite activities, no matter their team, they can now quickly see who in their company has the same passions and thus give more incentive to the discussion, share photos, organize an event, or simply discuss his practice and get motivated together all that to strengthen the cohesion between colleagues. I worked closely with product manager, brand designer, 3D artist, data analysts, developers and customer success managers to achieve this result together.

Squad challenge

We already do individual and group challenges, however the group challenges seemed more like individual challenges with a huge goal to achieve and where everyone could contribute. By giving the possibility to create their own squad, users choose their own partners and can motivate each other among friends, the feeling of belonging to a group becomes much stronger.

Dark mode

I've been working with front-end developers to make all our apps available in dark mode and thus improve the level of customization. Users can now choose the display mode they prefer, and/or simply choose the system based on their OS and have it change automatically depending on the time of day. We had to redesign our entire color management of our design system to implement it.

Paris 2024 - Marathon pour tous

I had the honor to work on the official application of the running club of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Based on our product, the app is called Marathon Pour Tous, we designed it with the Paris 2024 teams to adapt the app to their brand. Users try to win bibs to participate in the 2024 Olympic marathon through challenges.

Inclusive activities

We've been working on an update to improve the experience for people with disabilities. From now on, people in wheelchairs can automatically synchronize their daily movement activity: the "pushes" (every time the wheels are launched). So we've integrated 3 new activity types: Daily Movements for everyday outings, Wheelchair Walking for training, Wheelchair Racing for errands and Handbike. You can find a detailed article of the process here.

Leaderboard

I participated in the reworking of our ranking feature. Rankings are a key feature when it comes to sports and competition and the goal here was to develop a fully scalable feature so that it can easily adapt to different contexts. Different types of clients, whether it's in a challenge or a general community ranking, with a wide variety of customizable filters and categories.

Paid challenges

The first version of this feature was to allow challenge creators to restrict their challenges with a code. They could use their usual payment solutions and then generate codes to verify that participants had paid their registration on our app. We wanted to improve the experience and integrate a turnkey payment solution, administrators can now create paid challenges from the admin, manage several offers containing for example prizes to send to participants, several currencies but also create discount codes. The experience is much faster and integrated for our users and we can now monitor the associated turnover of each challenges and the conversion rates to improve the funnel.

Rock ‘n' Roll Virtual Running Club

As a continuation of our partnership with IRONMAN Group, we collaborated with them to design Rock'n'Roll Running Virtual Club. I worked closely with the brand managers and art directors to make sure that the app would perfectly represent the colors of their brands but also so that the members of their communities could challenge each other, discuss together, and prepare their next Rock'n'Roll race. Plus, I also design their landing page and build it with webflow www.runrocknrollvr.com.

IRONMAN Virtual Club

The COVID crisis has affected all industries and event organizers who work every day to bring athletes around the world together have not been spared. We have collaborated with IRONMAN Group to create the first IRONMAN Virtual Club to allow their community of athletes to continue to compete and train despite the restrictions that have been experienced. Hundreds of thousands of triathletes joined the club and shared on social networks their chrono or position on virtual races and especially on Instagram with #IRONMANVR during the covid and continue to do so today.

Olympus : A tool to create and engage communities through connected sports & wellness experiences

During my first 3 years at Sport Heroes, we had created different web app for almost fifty clients, we had at that time a big technical debt, we had 3 different products with very similar features that separate teams had done on their side on different technologies. We completely redesigned the product in order to create a design system that would allow us to deploy different apps (web or mobile) for different customers or communities, to have the possibility to make features that can be activated or not, in a much faster, more flexible, maintainable way: Olympus was born. Olympus includes: our SSO that allows the management of accounts and connections to different activity trackers (Apple Health, Nike, Garmin, etc...). The app and web front-end for users and a platform to allow admins to excel in community animation. I have been working on all parts of this product as a product designer since its creation. Since then, we iterate to improve and enrich it.
